We are followers of Jesus Christ until the end. Identified with the Master and sent by him to proclaim the good news of God's love, heal and release, to encourage hope. Today as yesterday, the religious life want to be fire in the bowels of the Church, amid a society that seeks an ember which harbor the soul or a little light to illuminate the night. We are consecrated by God to proclaim the year of the Lord with our simple life, delivered and silent. Although sometimes fragile treasure is contained in clay pots.
We are men and women who passionately feel the heartbeat of the United hidden in the vicissitudes of history. In it, thousands and thousands of our brothers and sisters put faces to the Samaritan of the gospel, without detours, healing oil with free delivery, paying with their lives to horse and beaten inn by the roadside.
Contemplative and in the heart of the world, consecrated deeply love the Church. Here we are and live our covenant with the Lord. Faithful to the Magisterium, faithful to the pope, faithful to the Christian community.
Today, as many Christians in the West, we live our faith in the open. And it's cold. Some blame us and we predict an early end. While we like to experience the warmth of our fraternal brothers and breath holding at times of anxiety and confusion. We acknowledge mistakes. There are things that change. But we need to force the Church to face difficulties and encourage the renewal of our institutes have undertaken with enthusiasm and hope.
The Spirit continues to blow hard making all things new. Also the religious life. We trust God that precedes and accompanies. And that will continue raising in his Church consecrated men and women to be eloquent signs of his presence and carry their love in the world.
